The apex sociocultural organization in Owerri zone Olu Owerri has extended her delight in the court verdict declaring the impeachment of the Deputy Governor of IMO state Prince Eze Madumere illegal.

In a telephone conversation with Rex news, the president general of Olu Owerri Chief Martins Opara (Ikemba) said it was a victory to democracy in Imo state and a welcomed development. He thanked the judiciary for upholding rule of law in Imo state.

Meanwhile, jubilation has been going on in the camp of Madumere and as well the Owerri zone in general. They see it as the first victory over the incumbent Governor come 2019 general election.
