A 20-year-old Chandler man was killed in an ATV accident on Sunday.

He was Austin Derrick Fout, a 2017 Brownsboro High School graduate.

Henderson County dispatchers received a call reporting the wreck shortly before 8 p.m.

No further information about the accident was available at press time.

Funeral services for Fout are scheduled for Thursday at 4 p.m. at Rock Hill Baptist Church in Brownsboro, with the Rev. Robert Welch and Rev. Danny Bristow officiating.

Burial will be at Rock Hill Cemetery under the direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.

Fout played varsity football and baseball at Brownsboro. He was named honorable mention on the ETFinalScore.com’s 2017 All-East Texas baseball team. The Athens Daily Review reported Fout was second-team All Henderson County catcher that year.

Brownsboro honored Fout as one of the Co-Most Valuable Players along with Jake Conner.

Since graduation, he had been working with an oil rig crew.
